The Ministry of Justice is conducting a short consultation exercise on changes to the FAS. The present fees relate to the level of Court in which the case is heard, and that will become irrelevant when the new unified Family Court is introduced in April 2014.
The proposals are that fees should relate to the level of Judge hearing the case. There are also proposed changes to the bundle fee bolt on.
The consultation closes on 25 November 2013.
