The MOJ/LAA were meant to have opened the tender process for duty provider contracts by the end of July 2014. Still there is no indication on what date that will happen, nor is there any indication on what criteria is going to be used. Any rumours or updates on this.
Sorry wrong e-mail for response
It’s now been announced that the tender is postponed until October – see https://legalaidhandbook.com/2014/07/31/crime-duty-tender-postponed-until-october/
We don’t have any concrete information. But July isn’t over yet!
